T.E.A.M.: Bonus Week 2

Sorry this has taken so long for me to post. I have been incredibly busy since camp with my cousin's wedding, vacation, and all the busyness of school. Here are the rest of the pictures from T.E.A.M. this summer. Looking back at these pictures makes me miss my wonderful friends/brothers and sisters in Christ even more! Love you and miss you guys!

I had a wonderful, hilarious video of the two of them attempting to put the siding up. They were both terrified and whenever the nail gun was used, Eryn screamed. But alas, in order to be able to take more pictures, I had to delete the video. :(

T.E.A.M. 2014: Bonus Week 1

This last week was the first bonus week for T.E.A.M. It was a lot of fun to be able to see and work with some of the kids from session one and from last summer. Here are some pictures from our activities that we did in the evenings. Enjoy!

Camp Chetek: T.E.A.M. 2014: Week 3

The third week of T.E.A.M. was full of more work and fun. Us girls continued to do the housekeeping work and the guys did the maintenance work, until Thursday. On Thursday, we traded jobs with the boys. So us girls got to learn how to weld in the morning and then in the afternoon, we split up and did other jobs. Erin, Mandy, Hanne, Bubba, and I got to rip out bushes by the 4 plexes. We had a lot of fun.  Then for our reward activity, we went bowling and had root beer floats.

Camp Chetek: T.E.A.M. 2014: Week 2

The second week of T.E.A.M. was a full week of working - serving food, doing dishes, cleaning the dining hall, bathhouses, the office, lodge, and chapel. For our reward activity, we went out to Mr. Ben's and shot skeet, a few handguns, and a revolver. I don't have any pictures from that week of us actually working but I do have some from our reward activity. Enjoy!

Funny story behind this last picture. When we went to Mr. Ben's to shoot, we all parked in the driveway. Well, us girls took the bus and the boys borrowed one of the church vans and they were parked behind us. They sent us girls to the bus while the boys cleaned up. After they were done cleaning up, the boys went to load in the van only to discover that it was locked with the keys in it. So then most of the boys jumped in the back of the pickup and went back to camp while the rest of the boys and us girls hung out in Mr. Ben's house for a while. Then eventually Miss Betsy came and rescued us girls with her suburban and took us back to camp. This is definitely a memory that I think we will all remember for a long time. Right guys! (Not just the keys getting locked in the van but all the entertainment we had when the guys were suppose to be cleaning up. ie. Peter's dancing.)
