A little bit about me...

I was born with a rare muscle disorder called arthrogryposis. When I was three days old, my parents were told that I would never function in normal society...needless to say, they were wrong. :) Then, about a year and a half later, my little brother was born with the same disability. I was born completely folded in half and my thumbs in my palms. For the first 4 years of my life, I had to spend three to four days a week at therapy.

When I was six years old, I came to see my need for the Lord. Like the Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast." During devotions one night with my Dad, I came to know my Lord as my Saviour. My life changed drastically. I wanted to do all that I could to get to know my Saviour more and I strived to live for him. Then I was baptized in 2009 at our local church. That same summer, I dedicated my life to the Lord and told Him that I would do whatever He wanted me to do.

Now, let's back up a little bit. After we had moved to Minnesota for my parents to go to college, Mom and Dad felt the Lord calling them to adopt. We adopted my little sister from Quito, Ecuador in the spring of 2009.
